Efeca develop and deliver tailor-made training on a range of natural resource and supply chain management topics, and can help you to ensure that your targets are met. We can also provide you with training materials to enable ongoing learning in your network. As facilitators of the UK Roundtable on Sustainable Soy and UK Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil, our outreach and engagement programme with UK industry, European counterparts and international stakeholders is central to our work.  We regularly present the UK position around sustainable soy and sustainable palm oil both nationally and internationally, and facilitate meetings, workshops and give webinars to up to 250 people.

We are currently partnering with MBKB to deliver the environment component of a Level 4 Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability practitioners Apprenticeship course.  Apprentices have come from a wide range of sectors including law firms, non-departmental public bodies, engineering companies and financial institutions.

Our Efeca Sustainable Commodities Resource Hub is a central hub of information, tools and resources to help businesses source sustainable and legal commodities – especially those that can be linked to deforestation and conversion of natural habitats, such as palm oil and soya – and make sustainable sourcing decisions.  It divides resources into 5 distinct steps on the sustainable sourcing journey and is there to help translate goals into action, and make a meaningful contribution to mitigating climate change and destruction of ecosystems.

We run a large number of virtual and face to face workshops and webinars on sustainable commodities and forest risk commodities, including on the UK Timber Procurement Policy.  We have both chaired and presented at a number of international conferences including Chatham House’s Illegal Logging stakeholder meetings in London, FAO’s Timber Procurement Policy conference in Côte D’Ivoire, WRI’s Forest Legality Alliance in Washington DC, FLEGT week in Brussels, RSPO AGM in Bangkok and ISEAL.
