Tracking progress towards achieving 100% sourcing of credibly certified sustainable palm oil in the UK

In October 2012, UK trade associations for palm-oil-using sectors, the government, and non-governmental organisations agreed to work towards 100% sourcing of credibly certified sustainable palm oil by the end 2015, as described in the UK statement on sustainable palm oil.

As part of CPET, Efeca has delivered three annual reviews since 2013 that track progress towards achieving 100% sourcing of credibly certified sustainable palm oil in the UK. These are listed here:

The reports build on the sustainable production of palm oil: UK statement published in Oct 2012 and the study of mapping and understanding the UK palm oil supply chain published in 2011. The third report gives a detailed breakdown of UK purchases of Certified Sustainable Palm Oil (CSPO) supported by the 4 RSPO approved supply chain models for 2014.

Efeca will deliver the fourth and final report for DEFRA detailing the performance of the signatories against the 2015 commitment in late 2016.
