Do you want to be a Researcher in a small, vibrant natural resource consultancy?

With an expanding programme of work we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated person to join our team. Based in our new Bournemouth office, the post will involve participating in a broad range of projects, proposals and business development. Master Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Forestry, Environmental Management, Economics or equivalent) or a Undergrad degree with at least 1 year’s experience is essential.

Who are we?

Efeca is a small dynamic natural resources consultancy firm based in Dorset, UK, with an expanding global programme of work, relating to environment, climate and economics for the sustainable trade and use of natural resources. We work with a range of clients across public, private and NGO sectors, in both producer and buyer countries. We have helped and advised governments and donor agencies to implement legislative requirements whilst supporting buyers and their suppliers to meet these and other market requirements. Efeca has an impressive client list, recently working for such clients as The Bank of England, European Commission, UK Government, B&Q/Kingfisher, Unilever and the World Bank.

Efeca is a relatively young company, and for the right person, would be an excellent workplace to develop business skills as well as technical skills. To support our growth we are seeking a full time junior environmental researcher to work as part of the Efeca team.

What the role entails?

Based in Bournemouth, Dorset, the post will involve participating in a broad range of projects, proposals and business development. A Master Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Forestry, Environmental Management, Economics or equivalent) or an undergraduate with a relevant degree, and at least 1-3 years of experience is essential. As a researcher, you will work on a range of tasks to support the delivery of client contracts, proposals, supporting marketing and administrative tasks, and providing research across all areas of Efeca.

Closing date is 31st August, with interviews being held shortly after. Please send your CV and cover letter to Lucy Cullinane at info@efeca.com
